Corporate Pools is a series of photographic documents and happenings. I organized pool parties with friends and strangers at the water features, often elaborate and grand in scale, that emblazon corporate headquarters in Southern California. The parties and their documentation point to the excess and irony of corporate culture, as well as the unspoken social codes that direct our behavior. For a year, we would show up, pool noodles and soft drinks in hand and spend an afternoon radically inhabiting, swimming and playing in these pools.  I photographed each event as both document and image.
